2. Also, if the person wants to be promoted to VP, he should have experience of working in the same position for at least 1 year. If he isn’t able to do that, he can’t be promoted to VP. It also depends on the company whether they choose to hire someone without experience or not. 

3. The person should have his responsibility to take care of the whole department. If he doesn’t have his responsibility, he can’t be promoted to VP.

1. Perform an executive role in a company. As I have explained before, the VP is a high-level position, so he must have a high level of responsibility as well as he must have the power to talk to CEO or President regarding all issues regarding the company. 

2. Make sure all employees work hard and deliver their best performance to make the company grow well. 

3. Keep working on the details of the company. 

4. Communicate with all companies including other departments, suppliers, business partners, and customers. 

5. Plan the growth of the company by making sure that all departments are doing their best performance to reach their target or goal that they have planned.

Most companies choose to hire someone who has more experience in the same position for at least 1 year to be promoted to the VP position. Because they need to be able to help the company grow well with their own experience and skills.
